She is survived by: her husband Ronald Kirchner; her children, Megan Horist (Mathew), Liberty Abraham, Corinne Gratson (Jason), Jeffrey Kirchner (Suni) and Michael Kirchner; her grandchildren, Hunter Merkins, Noah Catton, Bailey Davidson, Cole Horist, Paige Horist, Mia Abraham, Lola Abraham, Carter Kirchner, McKenna Kirchner, Gabriella Gratson, Brynn Gratson and Emma Gratson; her sister Sharon McGhan; and her daughter Michelle.

Memorials in Carol's name may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
