William LaVelle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William LaVelle of Grand Blanc, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaVelle and Luella LaVelle (Mallon); his wife Sharon Nelson; and his sister Mary Lawton. He is survived by: his children, Kelli LaVelle and Mark (Rhonda LaVelle); his granddaughter Kendall LaVelle; his brother Terry LaVelle (Anne); and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Latham (Larry), Sandy Evans (Gary) and Barbara Nelson. He is also survived by 10 nephews; 5 nieces; several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7296 Gale Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
