It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Marjorie Houghtaling of Grand Blanc, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald James and Marjorie Agnes Whitney (Parks); her husband Terrance Ralph Houghtaling; and her brother Donald. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Polley (Shayne); her stepchildren, Kathleen Bowen (Thomas), Tedd Houghtaling (Cathy), Susan Knorling and Ralph Houghtaling (Donna); her grandchildren, Jacquelynn, Michael and Christopher Polley; and her siblings, Jim, Gerald, Ron, Robert, Ken and Nancy. She is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6063 Fenton Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
