It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Edward Royer of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Royer and Eunice Royer; and his former wife Maxine Root. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sanford; his daughters, Susan Jackson (Loren), Shawn Ochs (Matt), Michelle Holland (Deric) and Shellie Odren (Michael); his grandchildren, Derek Fine Jackson (Allie), Natalie Allison (Joshua), Katie Bodary (David), Tyler Hardin, Cristian Hardin (Jocylynn), Erica Royer, Sam Goldman (Gabrielle Ropp), Alex Mistretta, Sarah Goldman and Alivia Moore; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Landon, Arya, Winter, Zachary and Eddie; his siblings, James Royer, John Royer (Jo), Michael Royer (Dawn) and Joanne Lynch; and his stepsons, Timothy Sanford (Martha), Mark Sanford (Susan Miller) and James Sanford (Rory).
