He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy R. McNamara and Dolores L. McNamara (Simons); his daughter Catherine Jasper; his grandson Robert McNamara III; and his brothers, Matthew and Dale McNamara.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Jean Rezler; his children, Theresa McNamara of Flint Township, Robert McNamara, Jr. of Flint Township, James McNamara of Grand Blanc, Lesa McNamara of Burt, Charity Cheek (Chris) of Montrose, Kelly McNamara of Flint, Krysten Ohlsson of Davison, Molly Pearson (Clarence) of Bay City, Jonathan Capp of Bay City and Melissa Capp (Jack Brown) of Ann Arbor; and his brothers, Dennis McNamara (Hilda) of Flushing and Mark McNamara (Connie) of Benzonia. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
