We bid farewell to Omar Mora of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Brownsville, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Omar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his children, Daniel Mora and Diana Mora; and his granddaughter Candace Mora. He is survived by: his wife Sofia; his children, David Mora (Shelli), Dalila Jimenez, Alexis Mora and Jasmine Mora; his grandchildren, Amber Rosen (Brett), Andrea Gochnour (Greg), Daniel Mora Jr. (Alex), Cordero Jimenez (Katelyn), Michelle Schmitt (Tom) and Kirsty Jimenez (Cam); and his siblings, Betsy Juarez, Reina Mora, Linda Palacios and Nereida Hanojosa. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the First Spanish American Baptist Church (1533 Giddings Rd, Pontiac, MI 48340). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:45 PM and from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
