Mary Elia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elia of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lazar and Alma Lazar (Baba); her husband Jacob Elia; and her siblings, Julius Lazar, Jacob Lazar, Paul Lazar and Agnes Yalda.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Lynne (John Hopkins); her grandchildren, Jacob Paul (Micaela) and Shelby Lynne Angus (Chris); and her sister Nelly Warda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St. Andrew's Episcopal Church or the Assyrian Cemetery of Flint.
