It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Clinton Dortch Sr. of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Monette, Arkansas, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Dortch and Isabelle Dortch (Knight); his wife Johannah B. Dortch; and his sister Leslie Sill. He is survived by: his children, Debbie (David Motter) of North Port, Amy (Richard Berthiaume) of Grand Blanc, Patsy (Matthew Dillon) of Grand Blanc, Polly Dortch-Conlan of Grand Blanc and Louis C. Dortch, Jr. (Denise) of Grand Blanc; his grandchildren, Michael Cummings (Maegan), Theo Dillon, Elisabeth Dipzinski (Josh), Chad Dillon, Max Motter (Alexis), Chelsea Conlan (Marco Ferrer-Ruiz), Madison Dortch, David Vela, Sophia Clothier and Jackson Clothier; his children, Johannah, Makayla, Mathilda, Valerie, Fletcher, Eliza and Mia; and his close friend Elizabeth "Barnie" Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
