It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Spangler of Grand Blanc, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spangler and Lillian Spangler; his son Scott; and his sister Nancy Frasher. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dailey; his daughter Kelli Shaheen (Tim); his grandchildren, Berkeley Shaheen and Spencer Shaheen (Marjorie); his sister Linda Leckrone (Al); his niece Julie Mitchell; his great-niece Amanda; his great-nephew Tyler; his niece Sara Dross (Adam); his nephew Jeff Frasher; his great-nephew Jeremy; and his nephew Zachary Leckrone.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (746 Saginaw St, Flint, MI 48502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Contributions may be directed to Metamora Hunt, Metamora, MI or the Genesee County Humane Society.
