She was predeceased by: her parents, George Loan and Carmie Loan (Phillips); her husband Harold "Gene" Eugene Brackin; and her siblings, Alice, Dreama, Della, Sylvia, Johnny, Gay, Freddie, George W., Charles and Jewell.

She is survived by: her sister Dolly Oscar (Ira). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
