He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lee Walls and Thyra Marie Walls (Luttinen); and his siblings, David Walls and Diane Carter. He is survived by: his wife Christy; his children, Tyler Walls (Megan) of Royal Oak, Monica Campos (Jason) of Austin and Elizabeth Walls (David Davis) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Georgia, Brooks and Jack; his siblings-in-law, Mark Carter and Gerry Walls; his niece Vanessa; and his nephews, Marcus and David.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Flint Disability Network.
