He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Lee and Mary Stewart (Hodges); and his son William. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Hurlburt; his children, David Lee Stewart Jr. (Kathy), Rebecca Corwin, Angela Snider, April Beringer (Raleigh) and Eric Hunt (Yun); and his sister Beverly Dejooiner (Blass). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
