It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Joe Folwell of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Murray, Kentucky, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iven Folwell and Treva Folwell. He is survived by: his brothers, Bill, Gary and David; his grandchildren, Jenna and Jordan; his great grandchild Rainer; his children, Nancy Clark (Tommy), Jim Folwell (Julie), Beverly Thiem (Rick), Lori Griffith (John), Carrie Poma (Tony) and Michelle Karaboyas (Giovanni); and his sister Barbara Hansen (Brian). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
