She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Huffman and Elizabeth Huffman (Dooling); her husband Howard Chappel; and her sister Verda Huffman. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Chappel (Jennifer) of Wallkill, NY and Stephen Chappel (Geraldine) of Evans City, PA; her granddaughters, Brianne Phillips (Jayson) of Butler, PA and Alyssa Rayon (Stephan) of Mars, PA; her great grandchild Miles; and her sister Sandra Poling of Flint, MI. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
