With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Jane (Grimes Markle) Bennett of Grand Blanc, Michigan, born in Malden, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Markle and Sadie Markle (Pearman); her former husband Duane Grimes; and her sisters, Peggy Blake and Judy Pellett.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Grimes (Pam) of Grand Blanc, Cindi LaJuene (Michael) of Arizona, Roger Bennett (Tina) of Florida and Doug Bennett (Jan) of Davison; her sisters, Mary Margaret Tracy (Roger) of Connecticut and Sondra Lacewell of Missouri; her close friends, Mable Glasstetter and Renee Dockery; and also, Jerry Harrod (Jennifer), Joe Simpson (Carolyne) and Maria Dye. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
