He was predeceased by: his parents, Mcfarland Rice and Maude Rice (Joy); his wife H. Robin Rice; his son Charles; and his pet Lois Hickey.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Rice, Bethany Rice, Carol Rice, Laura Fletcher Riege and Keith Riege; his grandchildren, Richard and Jillian Blades-Rice; and his son Lance Rice (Taura Ivanko).
