He was predeceased by: his father Robert; his grandmother Mary Ann Bozek; his aunts, Sandra Martin and Cindy Sawyer; and his uncle Jonathan Streefkerk.

He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Butkovich (Brian) of Engadine; his siblings, Jayden Sawyer of Newberry and Brianna Midgyett of Engadine; his grandmother Teresa Tschirhart of Traverse City; his aunts and uncles, Howard Streefkerk (Rachel) of Texas, Donald Bozek of Engadine, David Sawyer of Manistique, Herbert Sawyer of Texas, Lucy Organek of Texas and Donna MacLane of Engadine; and his close friend Donald Clark (Rhonda) of Gould City.
