She is survived by: her spouse Walter Smela; her son Walter Smela (Carolyn) of Colorado; her daughter-in-law Lee Smela of Kentucky; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hubbarth-Bergen (Dan), Victoria Smith, Bobby Smela, Brian Smela (Jennifer), Christina Linterman (Eric), Wendy Marcus, Jon Smela (Adrienne) and Andrea Smela; and her sons, Gerald and Sidney. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
