Joseph Frank Maciag Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Frank Maciag of Goetzville, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maciag and Rose Maciag (Zobek); his wife Kathryn House; his daughter Suzanne; his parents-in-law, Scott and Etta House; his siblings, Tony Pokryfke, Mary, Mildred Kott (Joseph), Anna Hank (Roman), Albert, Peter, John, Michael and Josephine Povey (Kenneth); and his brother-in-law Lawrence Opalka.
He is survived by: his son Scott Maciag (Brooke); his son-in-law Robert Gable; his grandsons, Cale and Evan; his sister Rosemary Opalka; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Lockhart (James) and Judy Schwiderson (Emory). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church (12841 E Traynor Rd, Goetzville, MI 49736). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
