He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Flegal and Mattie Flegal. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Dr. Gary Lee Flegal (Vernonda), Debra Jo Rhodes (Bill) and Diane Lyn Markus (Joe); his grandchildren, Dan Rhodes (Holly), Matthew Rhodes (Tosha), Samuel Flegal (Loraine), Diana Flegal (Alan Slone), Lyndi Markus, David Markus (Rachel), Jonathan Markus and Kaitlyn Markus; his great grandchildren, Ginny Flegal, Caden Rhodes, Brilynn Rhodes, Brooke Rhodes, Benjamin Rhodes and Henry Markus; his brother Dr. Cal Flegal; his sister-in-law Linda Hobbs; and his daughter-in-law Daphna.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Wings of Hope Hospice or Merson Church.
