He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Birdsall; his wife Bernice Searls (Searls); his siblings, Janet Immink (Carl), James VanBuren (Marie) and Judith Wake (Bruce); his children, Bill VanBuren (Cheryl), Sharon Sorrell (Steve), Jan Brondyke (Dave), David VanBuren, John VanBuren, Jr., Mark VanBuren, Kathy McCall and Joanna VanBuren; his grandchildren, Amy Brondyke, Eric Brondyke, Dylan Sorrell, Kyle Sorrell (Katlynn), Brandon Swinehart (Lauren), Micaela Sharp (Randy), Ryan VanBuren, Savannah Dunklee, Kearstan Nast (Cody), Faith Butt, Shelby VanBuren, Sarah VanBuren and Lillian VanBuren; and his great grandchildren, Mercedes Sorrell, Alexander Brondyke, Ava Sharp, Emaleigh Sharp, Jaxon Sharp, Marly Nast, Graham Nast, Michael Vincent, Wyatt Vincent, Addison Vincent, Xander Butt, Ivan Butt, Autumn Butt, Bailey Sorrell, Bryce Sorrell, Kyle Sorrell, Jr. and Kaden Sorrell.
