She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Borst and Betty Borst (Wiley); her brother Roger Borst; and her son-in-law Mike Lechman. She is survived by: her husband Richard Rimkus; her children, Erica Stender (Ted), Justin Oram, Betty Randall (Bud), Mary Lechman and Sue Harmelink (Matt); and her grandchildren, Seth Stender, Grant Stender, Elli Stender, Adrian Weeldreyer (Andis), Christine DeKryger (Christopher), Elizabeth Nesbitt (Drew), Jacob Randall, Nicole Stariha (Tyler), Jessica Fields, Jennifer Lopresti (Andrew), Michael Carney (Brooke), Joseph Carney (Alicia) and Sarah Harmelink. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many more dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel (528 Trowbridge St, Allegan, MI 49010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Earl Cemetery (28105 6th Ave, Gobles, MI 49055).
