He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Gretchen; his sons, Peter Sonntag (Monique) of Allegan, Joseph Sonntag (Anna) of Galesburg and Jim Sonntag (Amanda) of Otsego; his grandchildren, Merissa Thorpe, Keelee, Sophie, Autumn Sonntag and Emma Sonntag; his great grandchildren, Elijah Sonntag, Raelynn and Taiven Thorpe; his siblings, Al Sonntag (Diane) of Rogersville, MO, Meredith Piper of Aurora, IL, Marcy Becker (Jim) of Winfield, IL and Glenn Sonntag (Deanna) of Allegan, MI; and also Gretchen.
