She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Peterson and Gladys L. Peterson (Richter). She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Parsons; her children, Richard A. Parsons (Carrie) of Gobles and Amanda Lunde (Daniel) of Bogart, GA; her adoptive sons, Jim Scanlin and Tim Scanlin; and her sisters, Carol, Linda, Joyce, Ruby and Florence. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Parish (13809 M-40, Gobles, MI 49055).
