He was predeceased by: his parents, George VanBruggen and Irene VanBruggen (Miller); his daughter Connie Lynn; his great grandchildren, Jaedyn Noel Jasso and Magnolia Jean Hallgren; and his brother Del VanBruggen (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Janet Mae Seybert; his daughter Kathy Brown (Gary); his grandchildren, Lori Stersic (Dan) of Kalamazoo, Linda Odell (Tod) of Bloomingdale, Jeanne Meaders (Curtis) of Mt. Ida, AR and Karol Chopp (Dan) of Kalamazoo; his brother Don VanBruggen (Sherrie); and his close friend Dick Green.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Journey Family Church, in loving memory of Claude VanBruggen.
