Charlyn June Matthies Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2023, at the age of 92, Charlyn June Matthies of Gobles, Michigan, born in Vicksburg, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Borton; her daughter Becky Matthies; her siblings, Wanda Burris (David), Ardith Metty (Earl), Marilynn Sawyer (Jack), Dolores Smith (Francis "Lavern") and Verlyn Borton (Marilyn); and her brother-in-law Everett Denning.

She is survived by: her husband Wallace Homer Matthies; her sons, Bob Matthies, Dan Matthies and Joe Matthies; her sister Fern Denning; and her close friends, Esther Reinbold of Lawton, Jan Drummond of Gobles and Teri Burza of Gobles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
