It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lee Bard of Glennie, Michigan, born in Kawkawlin, Michigan, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Bard; her brother James Sylvester; and her parents, Clarence A. Sylvester and Arlene G. Sylvester (Laurie). She is survived by: her close friend John "Butch" Sakon; her children, Mike Rowden (Debbie) of Glennie, Denise Kwiatek (Jim) of Easley, SC, Paul Rowden (Maria) of Mio, Richard Bard (Ardith) of Lapeer, Jim Rowden (Melanie) of Oscoda, Doug Rowden (Jackie) of Oscoda and Rod Bard of Brown City; her grandchildren, Corey Farmer (Rachel), Mandy Hunter (Katie), David Kwiatek (Kristi), Tonya Rowden (Terre), Paul Rowden, Jr., Chelsea Kalbfleisch (Nick), Rachel Rowden, Aly Sutherland, Alayna Sutherland, Olivia Daniels, Jeffrey Brown, Olivia Rowden, Ashley Rowden, Steven Kohlhoff (Dacey), Brooke Dowdy (Jordan), Michael Rowden (Katie Anderson), Todd Kerentoff (Kimberly), Krysta Bastida (Christopher), Kayla Kerenstoff (Jesi Walters), Ashlee Brown, Matthew Brown (Nichole), Justin Brown, Brady, Lee Brown and Destiney Munro; her great grandchildren, Brady Lewis, Madelyn, Hayden, Harper, Ashton, Kennedy Lou, Sophia, Madaline, Jace, Journee, Colton, Bentley, Ambree, Jaxson and Amrin; and her brother Dwayne Sylvester of Bay City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
