She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Menzel and Ester Menzel; her husband Elmer Ertman; and her son Gary Ertman. She is survived by: her granddaughter Krista Semrau (Jerry); and her sister-in-law Diane Menzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
