She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Mathews and Geraldine Mathews (Powell); and her son John R. VandyBogurt. She is survived by: her former husband Walter VandyBogurt; her daughter Amy C. VandyBogurt; her husband Jim Welch (Jim); her son Walter VandyBogurt Jr. (Jennifer); her stepchildren, Jamie Welch (Marlene) and Kevin Welch; and her grandchildren, Maxwell VandyBogurt (Julia Townley), Charles VandyBogurt, Samuel VandyBogurt, Shelby Blanchard (Tyler) and Matthew Mitchell (Aliya Jonic). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
