She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Byrd and Arlene P. Byrd; her son William Thomas; and her husband Preston Boughner. She is survived by: her siblings, John P. Byrd (Joanne) and Sandra Byrd (Jake Beard) of Battle Creek; her stepfather Theodore C. Peck, Sr. of Arizona; her stepsiblings, Theodore C. Peck, Jr., Robert D. Peck (Karen) and Maritza Peck; her nephew Todd Byrd; and her nieces, Tammy Putman (Willie) and Barbara Borland Bielak (Vickie Banks). She is also survived by cousins and numerous friends.
