He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Novak and Louise Buammier Novak. He is survived by: his children, Earl, Michael, Ralph (Diana), Roy and Barbara Carlson; his daughter-in-law Stella Novak; his grandchildren, Jennifer Novak, Kimberly Novak (Rick Guajardo), Aryal Novak, Eddie, Matthew and Dylan Novak; his great grandchildren, Jack, Bianca, Oliver and Evelyn; his wife Ingeburg Novak; his sons, Allan Novak and Thomas Novak; and his children-in-law, Terry Carlson and Karen Brown.
