He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Hannah Laura LaRue; his children, Keith Douglas Smith (Joan Moulton), Karen Diane Schliesser (John) and Karl David Smith; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Kade Smith, Pamela Smith, Jacob and Andrew Schliesser; and his great grandchildren, Aubree and Wesson Smith.
