Born on August 4, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Francis and Marie (Knuth) Mallon, Ruth's life was a tapestry of wisdom and warmth that touched all who knew her.
Growing up in Detroit, Ruth's early life was marked by a strong sense of community and family. She was the cherished sister of Frank Mallon and was blessed with a large and loving family. Ruth's journey took her to Dearborn, where she dedicated 44 years to various jobs, displaying a remarkable work ethic and a commitment to providing for her family.
Ruth's legacy is carried on by her beloved children: Michael Lee, Jeanette Baker, Edward Lee, and Ruth Calander. She was a proud grandmother to many grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Ruth also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her children Matthew Lee, Deborah Lee, and John Lee, whose memories remain a cherished part of her family's history.
After retiring 22 years ago, Ruth embarked on a new chapter of her life by moving to Hope, Michigan.
