He is survived by: his wife Lori Mathis; his sons, Josh Mathis (Emily), Blake Weirmier (Amanda), Ethan Weirmier (Nicole) and Ezekiel Mathis (Jaime); his grandson Austin Weirmier; and his siblings, Bob Mathis (Jeanine) and Pam Mathis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
