He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gower and Viola Gower (Fries); and his granddaughter Amy Montijo. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Weiland; his children, Dawn Pagel, Ronald Gower, Michael Gower and Patricia Nash (Gary); and his siblings, Roberta "Sue" Pagel, Delmar Gower (Linda), Richard Lee Gower (Karen) and Gerald Gower (Joyce). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
