He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Mahaffy and Neva Mahaffy; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Mahaffy. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Mahaffy; his sons, Steve Mahaffy (Terri) and Michael Mahaffy (Ann); his grandchildren, Megan (Brian), Christopher, Samantha (Peter), Brianna and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Kylie and Grayson; and his sisters, Carole Wallen and Sheila Roach.
