With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorna Barre of Gladwin, Michigan, born in Pinconning, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gillette and Myrtle Gillette (Albach); her husband Theodore Barre; and her sisters, Sally, Sue, Judy and Barb.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Barre-Jacobsen, Larry Barre (Kathy) and Joe Barre (Michelle); and her sister Esther Doering. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
