He was predeceased by: his son Duane Heyza; and his sisters, Beatrice Lush, Virginia Krueger and Joan Bratto. He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Catherine Wilkins (David), Steven Heyza (Marianne Dazer), Darlene Gatto (Mario), Nathan Heyza (Marla) and Leonard Heyza III (Michelle); and his siblings, Elizabeth Hawrys and Arthur Heyza (Carolyn). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
