We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 99, June Ostrander of Gladwin, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy June leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though June may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Clayton and Anna Clayton; her husband John A. White; her granddaughter Kindra Moran (Rich Ostrander); and her sons-in-law, Gary Newton and Dick Scanlan.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Mulvahill (David) of Oscoda, Alice Newton (Gary) of Gladwin, Jeanne White of Standish and John R. White (Darlene) of Twining. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home - Prescott (101 Harrison Rd, Prescott, MI 48756). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
