She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wiltfong and Vera Wiltfong (Taber); her husband Francis Verkennes; and her siblings, Frank, Lester Wiltfong, Thelma Williams (WIltfong), Shirley Wilson (Wiltfong) and Karen Wiltfong.

She is survived by: her children, Todd Verkennes (Gricelyz), Francis Verkennes Jr. and Teresa Verkennes (Dave); her grandchildren, Joshua Verkennes, Bailey Lusk (Cade), Selena Wheeldon (Sean), Tyler Verkennes (Britny), Melodie Verkennes, Brandon Ely, Todd Verkennes Jr., Jesus M, Khyana M, Giselys and Ashley V.; her great grandchildren, Shaylynn, Kaden, Harlee, Aniya, Jakobe, Hayden, Kolton and Baby Jack; and her brother Richard Wiltfong (Paulette).
