She is survived by: her husband Dan McGowen; her children, Lisa Penix of Beaverton and Bill Penix (Kim) of Gladwin; her grandchildren, Todd Doane (Alyssa), Alyssa Boahbedason (Joey), Mariah Beecher (Jared), Ben Penix and Savannah Butterfield; her great grandchildren, Xander, Marylin, Hank, Hudson and Wesley; and her sister-in-law Ann Penix.
