He is survived by: his children, Jodi Orvis (Rex) of Clare and Stacy Jacobson (Carl) of British Columbia; his stepchildren, Steve Sherlock (Kellie) of Gladwin, Lori Sherlock (Mike) of Beaverton, Sherri Thompson (Paul) of Muskegon and Ken Clark (Angie) of Bay City; his siblings, Elden Coats (Dorothy) of Gladwin and Carolyn Newman (Larry) of Beaverton; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Jo Hill and Javian Coats. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
