It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Douglas Smith of Gladwin, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Lavern and Johan Smith (Reed); his daughter Roxane Kaye (John); the mother of his child Kathleen Smith; his granddaughters, Gracie and Julia Kaye; his siblings, Jeff Smith (Patti), James Smith (Karen) and Jill Meek; his nieces and nephews, Whitney Burnash (Kyle), Reed Smith, Kolle Smith and Kyle Meek; his cousin Michael Szuch; his close friend Chanee Louchart; and also, Hope, Atiya and Mary Jennings.
