John Krohn Obituary

John Krohn, age 83, of Gladwin, passed away to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on April 12, 2025. He was born on March 13, 1942 in Posey County, Indiana, The son of William and Louise (Hardy) Krohn. John was a schoolteacher in the Kearsley school district at Armstrong Middle School.

John married the love of his life Gloria, in 1965. After retiring from teaching he moved to Gladwin, Michigan in 1991. John had many jobs after retirement. John was a deacon at Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a prayer warrior. John believed in the power of prayer. John enjoyed working at Emmanuel Baptist Church. He loved his Church family. His brothers and sister in Christ where of great encouragement to him. John was blessed to have grown up in a Christian household with loving parents and wonderful caring brothers. John's faith and family brought him peace and comfort. John's favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31. John is Survived by his wife, Gloria; Son, David Krohn; John's brothers, Bill Krohn, Ray (Joanna) Krohn, Jack (Sharon) Krohn, Wilbur (Jane) Krohn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Joe Dorais presiding. Friends and family may visit at the Church from 9:30 am until time of service. Grave side services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm Highland Cemetery.
