He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haus and Anna Haus (Mayer); and his brother Steve Haus. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Baker; his children, Diane Ratinski (Walt) and John E. Haus; and his grandchildren, Hayden Fox and Troy Fox (Jessica).
