It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Flury in Gladwin, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Flury and Dorothy Flury (Schulert); his sister Marvel Erdodi (Flury); his nephew Michael Erdodi; his niece Jeannine Smith (Erdodi); his brother-in-law Frank Erdodi (Marvel); and his great-nephew Adam Erdodi.
He is survived by: his great-nephew Paul; his children, Amy Flury and Matthew Flury; and his granddaughter Jenna Flury. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Family will greet friends at the church on Thursday from 10 am until time of services those wishing an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers are asked to consider the family's wishes.
