He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Brettschneider and Anna Brettschneider (Rottenbach); his brother Nick; and his sister-in-law Maria Brettschneider. He is survived by: his wife Valentina Olofinska; his daughters, Sue Harvey (Michael) and Eva Taliaferro (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Dustin Yoder (Arlene), Courtney Failer (Nick) and Leanna Rendell (Scott); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ellis, Beckett, Colton and Tyler; his nephew John Brettschneider (Janis); and his great-nephew Steven Brettschneider (Colleen).
