Jerry Wayne Seng Obituary

Jerry Wayne Seng, age 83, of Gladwin, passed away on December 15, 2024. He was born on February 8, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan. Jerry was an honorary lifetime member, of 50 years, with the Iron Mustangs Motorcycle Club. He moved from Detroit to Gladwin in 1988 when he opened his shop, Lakeshore Collision, remaining in business for 20 years. After retirement, Jerry enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. Jerry, Shirley, and family had many good years and good times boating on Secord Lake, cruising, skiing, and tubing.

Jerry was diagnosed, two years ago, with mesothelioma. His last few months were a struggle, but he passed away peacefully at his home with Shirley and Jerry Jr. by his side.

Jerry will be missed by all his friends and family but will not be forgotten. His great-grandson, Daniel, lovingly called him "the Ol guy". He was especially fond of his mother-in-law, Edith Woods, whom he affectionately called "grannie".

Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley, Children: Jerry Jr. "Dude" (Julie), Kelly (Ed), and Jenny (Greg), eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a special friend: Pat Cuda. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern Seng and Margarite Moore, and one brother.
