He was predeceased by: his father Richard Fassett; and his son James Fassett. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Fassett; his daughter Kate Shaner (Heath); his grandchildren, Paul, Isaac, Piper Shaner, Clara, Annika Fassett and Colette Robel; his siblings, Lori VanSlooten (Andy), Amy Cote (Dave), Rick Fassett (Carol Tauck) and Mark Fassett; his nephews, Tim, Mitch (Katie), Dillon, Joseph (Madi), Samuel, Matt, Mark and Ryan; and his niece Alysa.
