She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Forgette and Helen Forgette (Lupfer); her husband Samuel Oaks; her children, Kimberly Muenz and Gary Oaks; and her siblings, Bill Forgette and Virginia Hedgen.
She is survived by: her children, Bonita Mattson (Jim) of West Branch, Nancy Hulett (Jim) of Ortonville, MI, Rick Oaks of Alger, Tim Oaks (Debbie) of Fenton, MI and Sam Oaks Jr. of Gladwin. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
